Other Opportunities
- Handyman
Our building is aging—we need constant handyman work. Plumbing, light construction, specialty cleaning, etc.
- Eden Project donations
Our neighbors like your garden surplus more than your compost. Donate your excess vegetables to the Co-op all Summer and Fall. Please see The Eden Project.
- Garden compost donations
Our plants need food too. Your waste is a treasure in our garden, but it first needs to decompose in our compost piles or vermiculture barrels. We accept most kitchen waste (no dairy or meat products) and yard waste. Please see McCoy Memorial Garden for more information.
- Monday morning shipment crew
Every Monday morning at 8:30 am we receive up to a dozen pallets of food. With your help it gets organized and shelved much easier. We usually finished by 10:30 am.
- Garden maintenance
We always need an extra hand on Saturdays through the growing season. As we expand into our satellite sites, this need will double and triple. If you’re interested in taking ownership of a weekly task (e.g. turning compost, weeding bean beds, etc.) let us know.
